Originally from St. Louis, MO, Candy has considered Northern Virginia her home since 1971 when her Army Veteran Father was relocated to the local area. After graduating from the Fairfax County school system, Candy enlisted in the US Army, and retired in 1995 after 20 years of active service. While in the Army, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Information Management with a minor in Marketing. After 7 years as a stay at home mom, raising her two children, she discovered real estate, which quickly became her passion. After receiving her Real Estate License, she also earned her Certified Residential Appraiser’s License. Before joining the Eric Stewart Group, she owned and operated a successful appraisal business while also working real estate sales.
With over 12 years of experience in local real estate sales, and completing over 9,000 appraisals in the Northern Virginia area for banks and local court proceedings, combined with her extensive knowledge of the local markets and valuing influences, she brings a keen understanding of a home’s true value. Her unique background helps her sellers receive maximum profit from their home sale, and with her attention to detail and thorough follow-up, also experience exceptional client care throughout the transaction.
